My name is Joanne, I am a freelance chef based in Loch Lomond and have been catering for over fifteen years. I have been lucky to have had a varied career, from working under the helm of Michelin starred chefs in London to cooking for a variety of high end clients in Switzerland, Italy and America, to working on movie sets for the stars.
From Ireland originally, I fell in love with Scotland due to the wildness of the landscape and humour and passion of the people, including my now husband! My ethos with food is cook with the seasons using the highest quality local produce, creating bespoke well balanced menus. I love big flavours drawing inspiration from a wide variety of cuisines. I am very passionate about sourcing from local producers and businesses.
Depending on the event I either work solo or I have a team of excellent chefs and front of house staff that I can call upon. As well as working for a variety of exclusive use venues throughout Scotland I am happy to work in private homes as well as travel abroad for short periods. I pride myself on creating a personable service for all sorts of occasions.
